You’ll immediately notice this site is not fancy. This is both intentional and a byproduct of simply not knowing enough to code a more modern webpage.
Yup. Large Corporations™ and platforms owned by oligarchs have turned our planet into a horrific shit-ridden wasteland and step one to taking our power back is to DROP THEM everywhere we can and still manage to survive. We feel that NeoCities, with its embodiment of The Old Internet™ emblematic of actual online free-speech harking back to the days of GeoCities & Angelfire, fits right in with our vision of being a truly independent vanity label and art collective.
On that note this seems a GREAT SEGUE to our next important Landing Page announcement:
DRP used to have its artists on all the major streaming platforms and digital marketplaces. Then these fucking cretins started kissing authoritarian ass. Spotify, Apple Music, and Pandora ALL started airing commercials for the modern gestapo known as I.C.E.
Digital Ritual Productions is a small collective of disabled artists & musicians. While severing our ties with these and other platforms means we are limiting our ability to pay our bills via our creative endeavors, it also means we can also sleep soundly at night knowing we are NOT beneftitting from fascism nor are we rewarding unnecessary middle-men gate-keepers who do. So the website won’t be flashy. But hopefully we can keep it simple, honest, and easily navigable because we care about our fans and our country enough to not aid and abet those who do us harm even if it is the easiest route to economic stability.
Then please consider supporting our artists. Each Artist Page on the site will have links to the artist/musician’s Bandcamp and other art stores. We are currently researching the best most pro-community and anti-corporate options available to us and our means and will have more udates in the future.
